From the day he brought me into North Point, until he retired in 2024, he never left.

2020 把棒交出THE BATON

That was not Scott passing his own baton to me — as my theology mentor, he was teaching me that "passing the baton well" is not a final act, but a road that starts from now. L2L (Leader to Leader), inviting the next generation of leaders into the room, letting the ministry no longer be capped by "my" capacity — all of it began to be written from that moment.

Across five years, the Asia team walked in one by one, picked up piece by piece — small-group leading, teaching, walking alongside, emotional maturity training. Not "I teach them" — but "I step aside and let them carry it."

這是最難的五年——放手比扛著更辛苦。但這是 L2L 真正的樣子:不是我在台上、他們在台下,是我退後半步,他們往前一步。 These were the hardest five years — letting go is harder than carrying. But this is what L2L actually looks like: not me on the stage and them in the audience, but me stepping half a step back so they can step one step forward.

Not a departure — the Lord's timing to move forward had come; GMI handed me to the next agency on the road, while North Point remains my sending church forever.

This window is not for me to be seen — my worth is in Christ, not in being noticed by people. This window is for the ministers and ministry co-workers struggling in the dark — so they can know: there is a way forward, there is help, there is a bridge to cross.

燈塔不吶喊,只是亮著。橋不催促,只是穩穩地在那裡。 A lighthouse does not shout — it just stays lit. A bridge does not hurry — it just stays steady.

L2L is not a curriculum — it is the next generation being shaped by the Lord inside the small groups we invite them into.

Every year in Atlanta, North Point Ministries gathers missionaries, co-workers, and leaders from around the world into one room. global(x) supports me with the resources and accompaniment of the entire organization — a depth and systemic foundation that few ministries have.
